Dublin-born, LA-based director and photographer Niall O’Brien studied fine art photography at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology.
In “Wonderful World,” a short film for Solomon Grey, Niall’s deeply insightful portrayal of a place and people captures an uplifting spirit of hope and resilience amongst the homeless. In “2AM” a music video for musician, Talos, Niall unveils the isolation often felt at the wee hours of the morning and the internal debate when awake at unusual hours.
His commercial work maintains his honest, cinematic gaze. Niall has helmed ads for brands such as Nike, Adidas, Ascent Protein, and Canon with agencies including Droga5 and AMV BBDO.
