After completing film school, the duo helmed the Oscar-winning documentary “Undefeated.” Their follow-up documentary, “LA92,” which garnered an Emmy in 2012, uses rarely-seen archival footage to examine the tumultuous days of the 1992 Los Angeles uprising in the days following the Rodney King verdict.
Their latest documentary, “Tina,” earned them a nomination for Outstanding Directing For A Documentary/Nonfiction Program. The film was also nominated for Outstanding Documentary Or Nonfiction Special as well as Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Nonfiction Or Reality Program (Single or Multi-Camera).
