    Bio

    Will Speck and Josh Gordon met at NYU film school and immediately bonded over a love for the same movies and a vague sense that the world was out to get them. They decided to work together.

     

    The duo have directed hundreds of commercials and won top international awards for clients such as Apple, Pepsi, Amazon, Netflix, NY Lottery, GEICO, PlayStation, Coca-Cola, Levi’s and Audi with agencies such as Droga5, BBDO, Johannes Leonardo, TBWA\Chiat\Day, and BBH. 

     

    In collaboration with The Martin Agency, they developed and helmed a film for Donate Life, “The World’s Biggest Asshole,” which stars Thomas Jane and narration from Will Arnett. This social impact campaign earned 10 Lions at Cannes 2017. Other notable work includes “Devin & Glenn,” their PSA against California’s Proposition 8, which made gay marriage illegal, starring Mike White and Justin Long, and the WWDC launch film for Apple starring Bill Hader. Recently, they teamed with Family Equality to create a PSA to shine light on the struggle that same - sex couples experience when adopting children.

     

    Speck and Gordon give voice to the underdog, a theme which also threads through their feature films, which include “Blades of Glory,” “The Switch,” and “Office Christmas Party.” The duo has worked with talent including, Will Ferrell, Jon Heder, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler,  Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, Jeff Goldblum, Juliette Lewis, T.J. Miller, Olivia Munn, and Kate McKinnon. 

     

    Speck and Gordon’s feature film, “Distant,” starring Anthony Ramons and Naomi Scott and produced by Amblin Entertainment, premieres Spring 2022.

     

    Their latest feature, an adaptation of of the classic childrens’ book series, “Lyle Lyle Crocodile” starring Javier Bardem, Shawn Mendes and Constance Wu hits theaters October 7th.
