In this film running is a metaphor for life and the symbol of freedom. It’s the freedom to move anywhere and everywhere, despite cultural or physical restrictions. When you run, your body is in a repetitive, meditative state that allows your thoughts to act differently. The thoughts become a flow, and you can’t help but reflect on your life. That’s just how running works.
