The fantastically-named OPC and Furlined director likes a bit of jazz on a summer's day, plays Burt Bacharach on repeat and is a fan of scanning.

What’s the best music video you’ve seen recently and why?

I just saw this film, Jazz On a Summer's Day. It’s live footage of the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival and captures such amazing energy. There are a lot of really candid shots of the audience, some of the best stuff, just observations on the way people listen to music.

What directors/artists do you look to for inspiration?

I definitely have a lot of directors and artists I admire but I think most of what inspires me is what’s around me, my friends, stuff I see around my neighbourhood or on the bus or things I remember from when I was a kid.

What are you listening to at the moment?

Lots of Scott Walker, John Moods, Burt Bacharach, Vince Guaraldi.

What’s your favourite bit of tech, whether for professional or personal use?

I scan a lot of stuff, like film and pages from books, so maybe the scanner.
